In Bloom Now

This is a beautiful time of year in Connecticut...the grass and underbrush turn an amazing vibrant green.  Meanwhile flowering trees and shrubs start exploding with color, seemingly all at the same time. Right now Dogwoods, Lilacs, Wisteria, and Red Buds are all in peak bloom. The only sad thing is that it all happens so fast.  I'm going to take a minute this weekend to stop and smell the lilacs!

  1. Oh! What a beautiful post! I just loved going slowly through these images and enjoying each and every one! Just scrumptious... that lavender really is the best.

Thank you for commenting yesterday. The flowers are Blue Camas, a lovely spring bulb indeed!
