This amazing apartment in Paris was designed by
Chahan Minassian. I really love the color palate, so soft and yet lively. I also adore the mix of old and new. The combination of the baroque furniture with the modern art is such a great dynamic. It seems Chahan knows his art as well as his interior design. He's quite a renaissance man. In addition to being an interior designer, he is an antiques dealer, a gallery director, and a furniture designer. Wow! Some of his other projects are much more spare...I really like them as well, but this project really stands out! It's like a cross between 1930's Hollywood glamor and 21st century modern. I can't get enough of this place!
Even this really spare kitchen is made glamorous with book matched granite slabs for the backsplash and a reflective stainless steel toe kick.
Love the deep turquoise and baby blue. The sofa is amazing too.
ReplyDeleteYou are right in saying it is wonderful, almost perfect. I certainly would love to stay there.
Happy Thursday, Jennifer.

ReplyDeleteLove that Parisian apartment by Chahan Minassian!! So stylish and chic. And, what beautiful, classical architecture. The wood paneling is gorgeous. I especially love the detail above the doorways.
