Yesterday while I was walking my dog I came upon a broken robins egg of the most exquisite color. I had to look twice at it and pick it up, the color looked so vibrant and unreal that I couldn't be sure it wasn't a scrap of plastic until I had the fragile beauty in my hand. I guess the color was magnified by the drab background of the path it was sitting on. Like in the images below, the blue looks best when offset by neutrals.

Hello Jennifer - Love your selection of photos! Robin's egg blue is one of my favorite colors. Whenever I use it as a wall color, it can go from blue to green. And, I do think it looks best with neutrals and browns. Cheers from DC!
