Cinderella Story

Much of what we do as architects
involves transforming sow's ears into silk purses.  We always try to make these transformations in the most cost effective way.  This is the first of what I hope will be a regular monthly feature of my blog.

This is what the house looked like just a few short months before.  Yikes, huh? This project was almost entirely a face lift.  We removed the front porch, installed new windows and lots of nice trim.  Now the house looks as though it might have always been in this lovely New England town.

  1. Wow! That is a big improvement. It never ceases to amaze me, the way you can "see" a new solution when you look at what is, Jen. Just like a sculptor standing in front of an uncarved stone - it's an artist's eye you have.
